1948: Born in Coimbra.

Degree in Law from the Classical University of Lisbon.

1998: Begins his training in Fine Arts at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, where he attends courses in Painting, Drawing, History of 20th Century Art, Themes of Aesthetics and Theory of Contemporary Art at the Centro Cultural de Belém.

2006: Starts to work in the Engraving and Serigraphy atelier of Cooperativa Diferença in Lisbon.
