1945:  Born in Portugal.

1964:  Goes to live in Paris.

1969:  His first works in drawing and painting appear.

1971-1975 : Holds a scholarship from the Italian government and attends, in Rome, the Academy of
Art.

1982-1983 : He received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Paris.

1992-1997 : Lives in Madrid, moving to Lisbon from 1997. Exhibits in Portugal, France, USA, Colombia, Brussels, Sweden, Spain, among others. He is represented in public and private collections, namely: Banco de Portugal, BPI, Stock Exchange, CGD, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Oriente Foundation (Lisbon and Macau), Cupertino de Miranda Foundation, European Parliament.
