1924: Born on the 4th of August, in Seia.

 

1948: Finishes the Special Course in Painting at the Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto, having studied under the masters Joaquim Lopes, Dórdio Gomes and Barata Feyo.

In the same year, she participated in the Aesthetic Vacation Mission, by the National Academy of Fine Arts, held in Vila Viçosa, under the direction of Master Varela Aldemira.

 

She is the author of a vast work in the field of illustration, painting, drawing, watercolor and sculpture.

 

She worked in “fresco painting” making several murals in single-family dwellings.

 

1958 – 1968: She is the author of four textbooks for the 2nd and 3rd cycles of high schools, having co-authored with her husband, arch. Francisco Pessegueiro de Miranda, from the “Compêndio de Desenho”, a single book for the discipline of Drawing, for 15 years (editions: 1958, 1963, 1968).

 

1968: From her 1st solo exhibition at the Ateneu Comercial do Porto, she intensified her activity in painting in the 70s, 80s and 90s, devoted in particular to the figure of women, framed in the most diverse everyday atmospheres.
